Now, with new technologies like mobile, big data, wearables and the blockchain becoming commonplace, the future of FinTech remains to be seen, as disruptive startups aim to further define the industry status quo. But it’s not just startups who are revolutionizing FinTech as we know it. Big legacy players like American Express, Goldman Sachs and MasterCard are making huge investments and bets on technology transformation, and have the power and scale to innovate at astronomical rates.
